A Pirate's Wedding

Ever wonder how a wedding would look like if the theme would be all about pirates? Well be inspired and try recalling some pirate movies before like Captain Blood or Black Swan that showcased a swashbuckling Tyrone Power. These were my inspiration and made me come up with a pirate inspired wedding theme.

A pirate's wedding is a definite unique and fun theme to create. You can insert a lot of new ideas into it. First to consider is the venue of the wedding. You can choose a sandy beach or even an elegant home that you will decorate to make it look like a pirate's hideout. See wedding photographer. After the venue has been finalized, the little details that make it look more like a pirate's wedding will be the focus. Let us start with the wedding attire that will be of great impact.

A pirate's bride must also portray well the part through dressing up like one. You must take a look at some gowns that a pirate girl would typically use during their era. More likely brides with heels wore complex gowns that often include a corset or lacing and wear patterned from silk or damask. These gowns go well with inflated sleeves edged with lace on both cuffs and bodice. A particular example of this style is the gown of Princess Diana that she wore during her wedding. The color will be basing on your own preference. Your bridesmaids must wear a simpler version and add some corset.
